Current Status Update
Hustle Long Beach! has reviewed the latest city service request data for the past seven days. Dumped items continue to be the most reported issue, with 550 total calls. The city's average response time for these reports is currently 66.6 hours. However, out of those 550 reports, 256 remain marked as new and 172 are in progress, indicating a backlog in actual cleanups.
Graffiti removal was the second most requested service, totaling 316 reports. The city averaged a response time of 37 hours, successfully closing 194 of those cases. E-scooter complaints also saw high volume with 278 reports, though 277 of these were immediately referred to outside agencies or closed administratively without a recorded response time.
On the faster side, Animal Services handled 20 calls with an average response time of 4.8 hours. Park Maintenance responded to 18 issues in an average of 6.3 hours. Keep in mind that unusually fast response times across some categories may reflect administrative closures or referrals rather than completed field work.
