Hustle Long Beach! has reviewed the latest city service response data from the past seven days. Here is a look at the call totals and response times for the community.
Dumped items and graffiti were the most frequently reported issues. The city received 556 reports for dumped items, with an average response time of 68.5 hours. Graffiti complaints totaled 322, taking an average of 36 hours to address. E-scooter concerns also generated significant volume, with 279 reports filed.
Response times varied across different departments. Park maintenance recorded an average response time of just 18 minutes for 17 reports. Please note that unusually low response times may be due to administrative closures and not actual work completions. On the other end of the spectrum, reports for abandoned shopping carts took an average of 3 days to process.
Public reporting helps keep the city accountable. Residents are encouraged to use the Go Long Beach service application to report local issues directly to the city.
