Hustle Long Beach! is reviewing the latest city service response data to keep the public informed. Over the last 90 days, there have been significant updates in how long it takes the city to address community concerns.
Dumped Items generated the highest volume of requests with 6,934 calls. The average response time for these issues was 8.5 days. Graffiti reports were also high at 3,261 calls, taking an average of 55 hours to resolve.
Infrastructure and maintenance requests showed longer wait times. Tree Maintenance received 896 calls with an average response time of 8.2 days, while Street Repair had 710 calls taking about 7.7 days on average.
Some services reported much faster turnarounds. Dead Animal Pickup handled 460 calls in an average of 10 hours. Business License and Permit Concerns showed an average response of just 12 minutes for 6 calls. Please note that unusually low response times like this may be due to administrative closures and not actual work completions.
Citizens are encouraged to use the Go Long Beach service application to report issues to the city. Staying active and reporting problems helps ensure that local government remains accountable to the community.
