Hustle Long Beach! has reviewed the latest City of Long Beach service call data. Here is a look at how the city handled citizen reports over the past 90 days.
Dumped items generated the highest volume of requests with 6,913 reports. The city took an average of 8.5 days to respond to these issues. Graffiti removal was the second most requested service with 3,259 reports, which took an average of 54.5 hours to address.
Other notable service times include tree maintenance, which saw 900 reports and an average response time of 7.5 days. Street repair requests totaled 710, taking about 7.1 days on average to resolve.
Some categories showed extremely fast turnaround times. Business license and permit concerns averaged a response time of just 12 minutes across 6 reports. Citizens should note that unusually low response times may be due to administrative closures rather than actual work completions.
